ConnectWise Regional User Groups Build Momentum

Two-day workshops expand on ConnectWise's commitment to build a strong, highly interactive partner community that fosters business education, sharing and mentoring

TAMPA, Fla., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to further support and mentor its partner base, ConnectWise recently launched a series of regional user groups across North America, the United Kingdom and Australia. The highly interactive two-day events expand on ConnectWise's commitment to create a partner community where solution providers can improve their companies through business education and best practices. Participants receive ConnectWise training, share operational insight and discuss successful market strategies. Partners who attend the user group meetings continue their communications throughout the year virtually in the ConnectWise Partner Forums, evaluating each other's progress against business goals they jointly set during the meeting.

The development of the user groups initially grew from the success of the company's ConnectWise Partner Summit, an annual event offering business education on a wide range of software features and business-process topics. The event, dubbed "the largest MSP-centric, face-to-face conference" by MSPmentor, has attracted as many as 1,000 partners. ConnectWise user groups complement the growing number of partner community activities, which range from ConnectWise forums and mastery sessions to ConnectWise Learning Center events and ConnectWise TV.

"The user group meeting in Chicago was great!" exclaimed NetSolutions Team Inc. Managing Consultant Eddie Hartman. "I am coming back armed with more knowledge, and better equipped to manage my business. These partner community meetings are always well worth attending."

CIO Services President Wendy Gauntt agrees. "Since the meeting, we have rolled out a huge number of process improvements, including a complete, closed-loop revamp of our dispatch process, and a lot of workflow improvements," said Gaunt. "I've never seen a software vendor that's as dedicated to helping their customers with business education as ConnectWise."

"Efficient business processes, from sales and marketing to services and backoffice operations, are absolutely essential to our partners' business success," said Arnie Bellini, CEO of ConnectWise. "By creating a partner community with more business education opportunities to share best practices, we're providing a higher potential for them to create sustained success in the managed services market."

From its start as a computer repair and instruction business in 1982, ConnectWise has placed a strong emphasis on business process improvement - and how it could share its success with other solution providers. The company continues to focus on training and business education as a way to deepen its relationship with partners, share best practices and foster partner success. To that end, this year the company expanded its partner community practices to include:

  • Launched ConnectWise TV, a state-of-the-art, Web-based service that delivers live and recorded business education content about ConnectWise applications, business best practices and industry trends.

  • Expanded ConnectWise Partner Summit - In only four years, ConnectWise Partner Summit has grown to be the largest gathering of managed services providers in the nation, with 95% of attendees reporting the event exceeded their expectations. The event attracts more than 1,000 guests and features nationally renowned business thought-leaders, technology experts and vendors covering topics that range from business education and marketing to emerging technologies like cloud computing. Unlike most industry events, ConnectWise Partner Summit is strictly focused on ways solution providers can improve their operations. Speakers are not permitted to "pitch" their products or services.
